Laurelin is named for one of the two trees of Valinor from Tolkien's Legendarium. The golden tree seems a fitting name for a company that specialized in Fusion energy, the same energy that powers the sun.
Our mission
We founded Laurelin to solve a problem, no one has been able to make Fusion produce positive amounts of energy, yet. Our stance is that this is not only possible but likely to succeed with sufficent application of Artificial intelligence models.
Our vision
We envision a world powered by nearly limitless, clean energy, and we believe fusion has the potential to address the key challenges facing modern energy markets. By providing a sustainable and abundant energy source, fusion can help reduce our overreliance on fossil fuels, which contribute to global conflict, and resolve the baseload challenges associated with current renewable technologies.
